ok i dont recognise a lot of names here.. so im going to repost my dream band including which bands each member is actually in/was in.. pls. doi the same for your psots - also psot something on why u think thats an ideal band pls. general rock band: drums - portnoy (dream theater, liquid tension) vocals - mustaine (metallica, megadeth) guitar 1 - dimbag (r.i.p.) (pantera) guitar 2 - mike mcready (pearl jam) bass - tom araya (slayer) firstly - i tihnk mustaine is an excellent voclaist - thoguh his range is quite limited, he just sounds too good. with dimebag pumping out killer riffs, the vocals would sound good. araya could add in the quick thumping basslines and even give some backing vocals.. now obivosuly wed need a drummer to keep up - portnoy is my bet - hes jsut too good... mcready - ppl would say hes the odd one out in this obviosuly metal band - yes he is - but he has the skill and msucial sense to make it all sound really good while still keeping as tight as a metal band might be expected to keep. another awesome band: vocals: chris conell (soundgarden, audioslave) drums: jimmy chamberlain (smashing pumpkins) bass: billy sheehan (racer x, steve vai) guitar 1: petrucci (dream theater, liquid tension) guitar 2: jeff beck (we all know this one??) this is a defintiely a more alternative rock band. chamberlain and conell would gel well with each otherand billy sheehan with his infinte experience would add a lot in terms of basslines. now the gutiarists.. hmm . .someitmes even i wonder how i put those 2 in there. but jeff ebcks nice melodies would probably clash against petruccis speed palying - but i guess itll all sound good... im guessing if i exchanged mcrady and petrucci both bands would become a lot better but well ill stick to my choices.
well this is really tough !!! if i try to make a dream band im so sure that after posting it then again i will need to post another 10 more dream bands !!! actually the way gr8 bands are rite now eg. Judas Priest,Iron Maiden etc they themselves area dream band. so it is really hard to make a dream dream band !!! even if i make bruce sing in priest or halford sing in maiden they will gr8!
