i think ppl who post here are very bias towards certain bands.have you heard bajida and sandip's playing in amra harina.should give credit to all good musician.and don't compare gabu with bubun.gabu is way way ahead of bubun.bubun is weak.fossils er rupam is good that does not mean bubun is good.

 

Bubun Fossils er rest of the members er tulonai weak, kintu drummer hisabe kintu khaarap na.

1. aggression pull by snare and floor
floor tom hits....

2. plays open hi hat and off beats better than ne one around....

3. vital change from pad to acoustic drums....adapted well...

4. awsome rhythms in " shono amra ki shobai ", " bi cycle chor " , adapted all
the awsome patterns of previous fossils drummer....especially "millenium",
" nemesis " ......
5. plays various kinds of patterns........almost diff. beats in each song....

6. double bass in " shototar bilashita " AND " acid....

WEAKNESS : regular rolls absent.....choking cymbals not seen......stability
absent
GREATNESS: plays diff. patterns ...with open hi hats , critical off
beats....total drum playing is heard with certain neccessary
pauses and grammer...which is good to the ear too....has his
own style of drumming.....

1. aggression with double bass intros and cymbal chokes

2. plays riff rolls better than ne body around....

3. basic 4/4 beats r played with changing rolls..

4. awsome stuff in " ghure phire ", care kori na, " paliye berai " , TELEPHONE...

WEAKNESS : continuous play of drums.....same sound u get to hear....tries
to immitate MIKLE PORTNOY....good drummer based on 4/4
beats.....critical pieces missing....
GREATNESS: plays hell out drums while in mood......plays double bass like
nething....huge sense of rolls...

I guess its a bit clear now that " bubun is weak when compared to gabu and gabu is weak when compared to bubun in their respective fields ":rock:

listen o iron maiden, pearl jam...u get gabu a genius....listen to green day, europe, queen...u will get bubun a good drummer......so no comparison between them :beer:

good you can like sone one that don't mean he is great.bubun's musical sence is very poor am repeating again dont compare gabu with bubun.you r talking about queen, have u heard all ther album?or europe?gabu is good for both progressive and glam rock drumming but bubun was a paddist for all hindi macha singers and now suddenly he is rock a drummer.gabu and baji were into music for rock n roll from day one,first know the histroy guys.
