Gosh, i sounded harsh there. Anyway, best acoustic song ha, there are loads but maybe, "Broken" by seether, the hotel california unplugged version or though not completely acoustic, Metallica's "Nothing else matters".

Hotel california unplugged and Nothing Else Matters are a must-have in any guitarists repetoire....really lovely songs...must get to to work on these...:think:
I like Green Day -TOYL -one of the first songs i learnt..
Other names on the top of my mind are Wonderwall and Two Steps Behind
 
everything mentioned here ... with eric clapton recieving another mention from me ..... also i really would love to play "the best of me" by bryan adams on acoustic .... i think it'll sound awesome ... iris by the goo goo dolls again ...

ok ok ok so i'm really smitten by this one song lately .. but its just true ... i can't help it i'm soo in love with the song ..... it's my perfect song right now ....

1. More than Words by Extreme - Beautiful song with excellent chord progressions and strumming...

2. Tears in Heaven by Eric Claption - Wonderful strumming and a great tune...

3. Wish you were Here by Pink Floyd

4. Hotel California unplugged version by the Eagles

5. Love is on the Way by Saigon Kick - Though the song probably does not have very tough progressions, i like it for the sheer melody.

patience is cool.....the whistle intro is damn cool.....imagine when played on the accoustics sounds cool......isnt nothing else matters mostly on accoustic.....except the solo..that is good too
