Anyone heard this band?

Absolutly the kinda music I love.
Jake E Lee was really awesom on this, much better thatn what he could do with Ozzy (though that was also fantabulous)

No this is more of fat tone, with good amount of mids.
Jake E Lee was guitarist for Ozzy Osborne after Rhandy Rhaods and before Zakk Wylde. (Okay there were some other guitarsists also in between, but none of them were permanent)

Style is more of blend of Metal and Rock n Roll.

I have always been a Fan of Jake E Lee. Badlands is a great band with a even bigger singer called Ray Gillen.. One of the best Metal Vocalist of all time. Unfortunately he didn't live long enough to make a name.. Just as he started to get famous, he succumbed to AIDS. He is the only guy who could take a Dio era Black Sabbath song and make it sound even better. He also originally recorded the album Eternal Idol - Black Sabbath. But he quit the band right after the recording and Iommi didn't want to start the tour with a new voclalist, so he re recorded the album with Tony Martin and then toured.. Hearing the Ray Gillen's version will make you realize that Tony Martin dont match up to Ray Gillen's cailbre at all. But Tony Martin himself is an outstanding vocalist and argueably the most versatail vocalist to record with Black Sabbath ever had...

Badlands is a heavy blues rock band. Very different from Osbourne's band. Ray Gillen was one of the greatest rock singers ever. Shame he died of AIDS.
