does the damn thing work with POP3/IMAP4? does it have SMTP for outgoing mails? DOES IT? if it does, add me to the list of thr desperates ;-)

 

Use linux.. hay by the way.. Everytime i check gmail, I get an invite.. When i go back to the page its not there.. Whats happening??

Jay... maybe it's using IMAP4 and ure forgetting to purge the messages on the server after getting em down to local storage... i mean it might be the same read message that u see as unread cause' it ends up getting downloaded again and again... use the 'purge' or 'kill' option or something... i didn't get u why does POP3/IMAP4 have to be restricted to linux? anyway this sounds good if anyone's got an invite to spare plss lemme check out the damn thing ;-)

big deal! it doesn't have POP3 or anything. and they say it's likely in the FUTURE. as if. so what if it has 1 gig of storage. I have eight! (yeah - i just have an eight gig hard drive. so?)

but it's still worth checking out ;-) so if someone had an invite for me don't throw it away!!! i never said i'm not a grateful guy...
