im really confused. i had earlier decided to buy a bass guitar. then i was in the mood of buying a good acoustic. now im swinging btw the two moods. what would have you bought if u had a budget of 20k? acoustic guitar or bass guitar?
What u actually want to buy is what u actually should buy. both are different guitars. it is, as bjr said, like buying apples or oranges... Well i haven't played bass guitar ever. and i have an accoustic gtar...so i wud be interested to buy a bass gtar and learn playing the same..
I would prefer buying an Acoustic. I would not hesitate even a second to buy oranges. Apples? Bah! Bland, tasteless, ... On the second thoughts, I owuld buy a Sax or a Piano. (Usually second thoughts are more logical/rational and less impulsive)

yea, angelsofsin, i forgot to add the third option for a drum kit. @ cronix and others.. i have rite now 20k with me. i have a decent electric, playing for a long time. but i dont have a good acoustic with me. and i also want to play bass. its a really tough choice btw the two for me. iwant both equally. (plus to make it harder, i think drums are cool) which is why im asking for all you guys opinions on what 'you' wud have done in this situation. pls dont tell me "u shud buy wot u want", bcos that is not helping!

Decide what u want to play.... u are talking about decisions with no relation between them. or go with alpha's decision if u are so damn confused
@alpha1, haha nice try, but doesnt make sense if i buy a crapy bass and a crapy bass amp with i guess a good acoustic. so ill put the money in one of the things.
You mean Bass guitars for 10K are crap, and suddenly become good if they are priced at 20K? Same thing for the acoustic.

Depends what you want to play. As in, musical style. I'd recommend a bass and the toneport, but thats because of what i like.

I would have bought the both!! Acoustic guitar worth 4k and the rest for BASS.. NEWAYZ, I voted for BASS grin: can't play that good, so need to practice, that's why I need my own BSSG :grin: )
