silly question, why is this narmada bacaho andolan? i mean wont the increasing the height of dam is not gonna help a loads. I know tht there are villages which will be affected but if govt provides them land n all same thing in other places. i think tht dam will be a huge development. if someone really know wat the issue, however this is already resovled. Aamir Khan has always rebuked and mocked the Indian media.. may it be matters regarding his personal life or their take on certain other issues dont tell me he was waiting to be inspired by Rang De Basanti of all the movies if he really is/was serious about supporting NBA he wouldnt have brought the "Rang De Basanti" crew along they served as mere side-kicks who had nothing to do, but just stand there doing nothing if he still wants to promote his movie someone ask him to do something about MIG fighter aircrafts his movie does have a lot to do with that issue...publicity guaranteed! being a perfectionist looking dumb in front of the famously infamous media, he could've done it a better way why was he so lost when it came to answering questions regarding the movement? if his concern is genuine why doesnt he know a thing about the NBA? i dont think Medha Patkar or any of the activists wanted this to happen but if NGO's are turning more commercial and grabbing eye-balls this way i'd say its jus messing around with the media like it does to them to all media is a mistress nowadays Whatever! joining a movement aint no joke its not some kinda stint or an Ad campaign, one cant jus wake up one day and say "Oh, this is Hawt, i'd like to be a part of it" gawd!!..are people so damn dumb!!..is being famous at the cost of others so easy! and besides some of the activists present at the fast did ask Aamir to back off from his Coke deal as the Coke factory is hampering their living conditions and polluting their drinking water it falls on deaf hears for then you see him in a new Ad, being a chinese and all that bull it doesnt end there soon after Aamir, madeimoselle looking Diya Mirza backed Aamirs so called "concern" it couldnt stink any better! She too didnt know anything about the whole NBA movement the media had a good ride..debates and showing people banning his movies! how else would they run on if they had nothing to show! whereas the Narmada Dam is concerned now the case is even though the dam could'v been built at a certain height wherein both the villagers and the government could've have profited due to some reasons the villagers nor the government approved of it Anyway, enough with the hullabaloo! the government should relocate the families and see to their betterment as the dam is definitly gonna be built coz looking at the other side of the story, there is a need for water and a huge chunk of people go without their basic neccessity the issue has been going on since a very long time matter of fact a friend of mine, is a part of this movement for a not-so-very mere teenager, its not easy to dedicate ones life to a certain cause its more about commitment, dedication and belief Aamir has a lot to learn before opening his mouth.. for a change, it is good to do some other homework! making cool statements with a cooler looking hairdo and smeared all over with lots of sun block, isnt all that cool! there are better ways to be in the limelight! sometimes its good not to be in the public eye and try to prove that one is genuinely concerned about some issue i guess thats enough for today!
