    Hi,
If you are given a choice to make a lineup with artists of your choice who are living or dead. What would be your favourite linup. You could chose members across various bands, various eras and also various genre. Also give a one line comment of what would be special about the band.

    My Favourite Lineup

    Ritchie Blackmore - Guitars
    Ronnie James Dio - Vocals
    Jimmy Bain - Bass
    Danny Carmassi - Drums
    Don Airey - Keyboards

A great Jam Band Line Up with absolute crazy guys.

Shane Embury- Guitar & Bass(Napalm Death, Ex Brujeria)

My ideal band is based on what these people are capable of and not what instruments they play so I guess this is weird.

    Rythm Guitars - Jimi Hendrix
    Lead Guitars - Joe Satriani
(They will trade solos and stuff like that. If you've seen a G3 concert, you know why these two need to have played together.)

    Bass Guitar - Nathan East
(This guy is Eric Clapton's rythm section but there was this one concert in 1992 called "Guitar Expo Sevilla" where this guy was the bass player for Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Brian May, Joe Walsh, Nuno Bettencourt and a lot of other guys who played there. This guy can keep up with ANYONE. He plays a six string bass usually. He will also be the bass player on Steve Vai's next album.)

    Drums - Keith Moon
(Absolutely no competition here. Anyone who has seen the absolute ferocity with which he drums is liable to pass out if they get too close.)

    Keyboard - Ray Manzarek
(The Doors' keyboard player : "Come on baby light my fire"............need I say more?)

    Vocals - Robert Plant
(Not a single song has passed through his vocal chords without being completely transformed and taking new dimensions which are beyond human imagination.)
