i'm not well versed with the viper series to be able to comment on that but as general advice, don't pay too much attention to the model number and what it should be and blah blah. check out the specifications for each guitar, read reviews, play the guitar once in a shop if possible then go for it. whether its a viper 50 or 100 shouldnt matter.
