    Flimsily constructed thing.

Neither footswitch is responding any more. Does anyone have experience with opening up a 707II? I think the spring or the switch need to be realigned or something. Unfortunately since it's plastic I think it'll break easily, so I need to know if someone here can guide me on how to pull out the footswitches.

    :annoyed:

Yaar that guy uses duplicate items and sub standard stuffs.
But the thing is that u can get it done for half the price compared to other shops.
Also that guy has tremendous amounts of patience:p:

What do you think has happened though? Some component requires replacement?

Muahaha! I've fixed it for now. The right pedal spring was out of place, not allowing the, ermm... 'hammer' to touch the microswitch. The left microswitch has a little contact problem, which I'll fix by placing a flat headed 'hammer' into the footswitch.

baap re ...its not that semaphore am talking about.

Actually in computer language semaphores are syncronisation tools which allow only one user to write to a file at a time...
so whn u were posting that u have got you zoom fixed i was posting the possible causes for it to malfuntion.
So i had to edit it.
    as simple as that.
Happens lotsa time on IGT with me

Heh, it's the same on any forum. :)

Thanks for the help though. I knew, or rather was hoping it was something right under the switch and not some PCB component that had blown. Thankfully I was right. The unit hasn't seen much abuse, and I won't be buying anything new until I can sell that other guitar.

    ANYONE INTERESTED? IT'S UP FOR 9K! :)

It's a great guitar but it just doesn't suit me. I prefer a slightly fuller neck. This one has a thin neck - a little thicker than an Ibanez I think. The pickups are awesome though. I don't use the Floyd much, but there are songs I can't play on a fixed bridge.

You know, you could use it as a left handed guitar. The shape is quite ambiguous :p:
