OK, 1 down. 9 more to go : @dmf: What about MAYH from opeth? I think its heavier than Ghost Reveries....
 atleast someone knows what a real heavy album sounds like. Oh make that 8 Heaviest albums(till now) 1) IX Equilibrium- Emperor 2) MAYH- Opeth
Albums which raise the adrenaline levels in me Follow the Reaper - Children of Bodom Night of the Stormrider - Iced Earth Bloodline - Pathogen Piece of Mind - Iron Maiden Reign in Blood - Slayer Master of Puppets - Metallica The Grave Digger - Grave Digger Ancient Dreams - Candlemass Dead Heart in a Dead World - Nevermore To Mega Therion - Celtic Frost In the Nightside Eclipse - Emperor Haven - Dark Tranquillity -the wabbit
well i dont have time to list all ten but the albums that i m currently into are ashes of the wake - LambOfGod tomb of the mutilated - cannibal corpse vulgar display of power - pantera (and ooh dennis their current style is groove metal) show no mercy - slayer roots - sepultura Children of bodom (generally older) gonna get some of the opeth albums (i've heard so much about them)
Pantera have gone through one of the most radical style changes in their career. Starting as a hair metal band, they went on to become on the most brutal bands on earth. It's usually the other way around...when you wimp out, then you get the glory. Maybe there's hope for this world after all.
8 foot sativa - breed the pain Cannibal Corpse - the wretched spawn (not necessarily the heaviest cannibal album but my fav) Hypocrisy - Virus Lamb Of God - As the palaces burn Meshuggah - Chaosphere Opeth - Deliverance Six Feet Under - Maximum Violence Slayer - God Hates us All & Reign in Blood Dying Fetus - Stop At Nothing
