The name of this band is going to be JUXTAPOSED.

People who have their own bands, can give thier own band name and the respective members ... I won't mind that ... I would like to get one such reply.

I vehemently disagree on two persons. :aggre: Anirban writes some of the most pathetic lyrics I have heard. :annoyed: Also, though I like Subhojit's voice, I think Rupom would be a far better choice for rock songs. :rock: Pota would be the best for any melodius song. Also I think Drono of Chandrabindoo is a better keyboard player than Debadityo(who is also quite good).

 

Anirban's lyrics are good, and not pathetic,non-sense and dirty like Rupom's.
Let me tell u one thing, most of Fossil's songs r copied from english nos. The song Aro Ekbar, is a carbon copy of Led Zeps When the Levee Breaks.

And Subhojit is a better vocalist than Rupom. Rupom's voice is going bad day by day, 'cause of dope.

a boy of class six can write the lyrics that anirban writes, theres absolutely no comparison with Rupam-da.

As far as vocals goes, shubhojit is very good, better than sidhu and all, but not reallu suited to rock vocals.
and for your info, rupam da does not dope. as lefty said, not even cigs.
and speaking of lifting, listen to "shudhu chai tomay" and iron maiden's :the trooper" and "hallowed be thy name" consecutively. ull get my point.

 

I think you need to elaborate your knowledge of English songs. Lakkhichhara is a big lifter from Iron Maiden and also from Guns and Roses. And about Anirban and Rupam's lyrics comparisn, I would like you to try and write lyrics on both of their styles. You find out which is is harder.

Really, shudhu lyrics lekhar jonyo keno Anirban-er dorkar porlo Lakkhichara-r moto band-er setai bujhte pari na. Or ardhek kotha-r kono mane nei... na ache Rupam-er lyrics-er josh, na achhe Chandril-er wit.

I never said Bicycle chor is a good song. But then, even though bicycle chor also uses very cheap lyrics, atleast it tries to adress a very sensitive and critical issue like child labour and juvenile crime, not something as irrelevant as some people getting a few less holidays.

Paaliye berai er lyrics jothesto cheap. Cheap mane ei noy je tate oslil kotha achhe. Lyrics gulo khelo, khub ekta chinta bhabna laage na segulo likhte. Fossils er gaaner lyrics khub subtle. Likhteo bhabte hoy bujhteo bhabte hoy. Lakkhichhara lyrics e seta prochondo bhabe lacking. Taachhara Paalie berai ekta otyonto unimportant jinishke otyonto unsubtle bhabe bolechhe. Gaantar music o tune bhalo kintu lyrics kharaap.

 

Ok guys, chill... egulo sob-i lokjon-er personal motamot. For me... I dig the song Paliye Berai quite a lot... tabe lyrics-er jonyo noy, hoyto shudhu Rishov-er oi wah niye solo-tar jonyo.
