    I have one of four, the one i'm sitting at right now is:

    Intel Pentium 3 550MHz 100FSB Socket 370 Processor

    1GB SDRAM (some are PC133 but since there is a PC100 as well they are running at PC100)

    ATi (yes original) 64Mb Radeon 8500 (not the LE but the Full Version!)

    OS : OS X jaguar (10.2.x) - i am upgrading to panther soon.
    I boiught only music software on my mac.. no other entertaintment or cool graphics mac softwares owned.

    Music Software + hardware:

    Hardware: Digidesign digi 001,002 and Mbox. Yea i own all 3, been too lazy to dispose my 001 which is now obsolete.. i use it as a glorified sound card.
    I got alesis Active reference near field monitors connected to my mac thru the digi001. I use the 002 for recording.
    software:

    Protoools 6.1 LE
    Propellerheads Reason 2.5
    Abelton Live 3
    stephen kay's karma MW software to program my triton karma's GEs.
    I own a bunch of plug ins and soft synths as well. list keeps growing.

    apart from this, I have a PC pentium 4 with 1 gb ram and windows XP and 20 gb harddisk.. I used to use it before havent turned it on in months now.. too lazy to sell it.. wont get anything anyways..

    i have a sony vaio laptop that i am planning to sell for last 1 year :p: that runs xp too
    i have an old kickass dell laptop running win 98, and use it to browse web when some stupid sites do not work on my mac. . its pretty stable. windows 98 SE was pretty good. ME was their worst OS and XP and 2003 are bad too.

    at work place its all linux. i have a hp compaq d530

    Mine's pretty modest...cause I bought it 4 years back..still works rock solid.

    Intel P4 1.6 GHz
    Intel 845GLAD Motherboard
    256 MB DDR Ram
    Onboard sound and graphics....not very high end compared to nowadays but sufficient.
    Samsung 40x CD RW
    15" Monitor (CRT :( )
    OS is XP and RH9 linux.
    40 GB Samsung HDD

    thats a fine enough PC . . the one i posted above is the one that the institute has given me . but the one that i own at home is not worth mentioning .
    its got a P3 processor 512 Mhz , 128 Mb RAM , Sony CD Drive , 20 GB hardisk !!. .. i can't work on this. .. only programming is all i do on it. .
