Hi Everyone, I've been lurking around this forum and it's been immensely helpful for me. So I thought I'd just say a quick HI and and big THANKS to everyone About myself - I picked up a guitar for myself around 10 months back and have been trying to teach myself to play (with moderate success, I may add). Recently, I have graduated to being able to play barre chords properly - and only because I was determined to play 'Hotel California' (which now I can!). Well, loooooong way to go still.... The 'gear' I use is a couple of 'Hobmer / Hobner' acoustics (one cut-away with 'f-holes' and one 'round hole' one) and an Ibanez 170DX with a Roland amp. Software-wise I use - AP Guitar Tuner, Guitar Pro 5, Earmaster Pro and Audacity (all on Windows). And these have really helped me, I would really recommend their use to anyone who is starting out...
hey.... does the softwares that u've recommended teach the notations....?? coz i'm really shit in getting the leads of the net and playing them...
