You can't legally. It is the compensation Geocities gets for hosting your site for free. There are hacks available which prevent the banner from showing up but if they do catch you using one of these you will almost certainly have your account suspended permanently. My recommendation is go with a site that has a smaller banner like 100WebSpace.com.

ye its real good is freewebtown.... thanks to rizaaj i am using that now..... and if u want like kool stuff for ur website.... like kool counters and stuff i would use www.bravenet.com just sign up ( dont take the free hosting plan, or any hosting plan)..... once u have signed up you can get any counter or stuff like that for free( they do loads!) you just copy the html code and paste it on your site and remove the bravenet little ad
