I think of you cn get from US you can go for any of these. But each is different kind so you gotta decide what shape, what kinda tremolo, what pickup configuration you want.

For effects best you stick to Multi fx since its a lot easier and convinient than induvidual pedals.

I think you wont need a huge amp right away so you can get a small amp instead even a tube amp. You can even go for the marshalls you get here.

If you've got no problem with online purchase that will do fine anyway you'll get the free shipping and the trend is that these prices will be very competitive so you might not find better prices in some stores. The choice is yours.
Before you decide on the ibanez or the les paul you gotta know that the floyd is really hard to setup and most people give up on floyds and go back to normal tremolos or hardtails. But the Ibanez i suggested has the Zero Resistence Floyd Rose licensed Bridge which is considered the best floyd bridge in the world today and there's also system which enables easy tuning changes unlike traditional floyds. check this out https://www.ibanez.co.jp/world/products/eg/popup/22.html

i wont recommend getting the GNX 3000..the line 6 POd XT Live is a much much better pedal ..and it sounds absolutely brilliant ..so you are better off buyin the LINE6 podXT live pedal ..

regrarding the guitar , well its a zero resistance floyd but still changing strings will require the same effort as any other floyd ..IF you are looking into Floyd rose based guitars ,you are better of buying guitars with the speedloader floyds ..they are simply brilliant .can change a set of strings in a min or somethin... but only a few brands make im ..i think B.c rich does ...but if you get a B.C rich ,it wont be very versatile ..its great for metal and rock but not that great in the more vintage clean sounds .

but its kinda expensive .but that ibanez looks like a great guitar and probably play great 2 .

why dont you look into marshall or crate ..they also make some good amps .

SpeedLoader bridges require special strings which i doubt you get here in india. As far as Mlti Fx are concerned i have'nt heard a better pedal than the Vox Tonelab. The price is a bit steep thats why i did'nt recommend it. If you're on a tight budget i say go for the Tube pedals that Zoom came up with recently. I heard that the drive on that thing is even better than the GFX-8 (which most people consider great for metal)

Ohh, don't forget to factor in the price of the hard case in your budget because you'll need to buy a hard case to transport the guitar from abroad.

I don't have much experience playing a floyd rose tremolo but from what I've seen it's a pain in the ass.. initially atleast to set it up and it's better to go with non-floyd bridges.

Go for a Marshall amp. Check out MG15CD .. Should be around Rs. 4500. Reliable and nice.

Ohh, and if you get a processor from abroad.. REMEMBER TO GET A CONVERTOR FOR IT(the rated supply is different in the US from here). You'll hate yourself if you burn the adapter and have to wait 3-4 days for another one.

well changing strings on floyd is not a big issue as it is made....an excuse for those who dont like or dont want them.....i can change strings on mine in less than 10 mins..and i have to do that once in a month or sometimes more than a month...

does a floyd rose give more versitality to a guitar? And is there any ibanez in this range with 24 frets

i hav also heard that it is not possible to tune the guitar in drop D tuning in the s470 is it true

^^^ floyd rose is necessary ONLY IF you have a fetish for doing divebombs or you play only with whammy bar (like Steve Vai)

I dont see any point spending Rs5-6 thousand extra just to get a floyd rose bridge (unless n until your style is what I mentioned).

d00d, I can change the string in my Strat tremolo unit in less that one minute.

You may add one more minute to bring it to tune.

I can change the tuning of my guitar from standar to drop D in 10 seconds.
I can change the tuning of my guitar to lower it by 1/2 step in 30 seconds.

    Can you beat that?

more than changing strings in the floyd ,the problem will mainly come during a gig ..say you snap a string will playing the holy wars solo...you are technically screwed because the tuning of the whole guitar will go kaput because all the floyds are floating bridges and they stay in tune because of the equal tension ..if 1 string snaps , the tuning becomes lesser on 1 side then on the other ..thereby throwing your tuning to heaven .
And 1 more thing , in a floyd guitar ..its very difficult to snap only 1 string !!..I know it may sound dumb ,but its true ..becuz when you snap 1 string .the tension radically changes and most of the close by strings also wil give way ..so if you snap 1 ..you may end up snapping all your treble strings !!

the changing strings thing is no big deal actually ....whether it takes a min or 10 min doesnt matter ..but if you are gonna buy one of those licensed floyds which take like a few hours to tune.then it il be a mojor problem..

and sridhar .you are rite ..speedloaders strings are very rare in india ...and dey are very expensive ..around 400 bux ...and 24 frets i think really aint necessary ..22 will do ..hell even joe has a 22 fret ibanez and we all know what he can do !!!

You still havent told what kinda music would you like to play.

If it is "papa kehte hain" stuff, then better burn the money when winters come. Atleast you will get the heat.
That would be more productive and effective than spending a fortune on guitar.

Everything hinges now on your choice. Which artist you wanna play like?
