Now some real details for a person who dloaded Winamp 3, hated it and switched to winamp 2.9... Does it still take a long time as Winamp 3? Do videos stop in between?
my first impression - absolutely gorgeous, looks wise. my experienced impression - why must newer products be so necessarily heavy-weight always? well, i feel like going back to the old winamp 2.91 once again...
...and winamp users, you are sinning if you haven't got yourself 'enhancer' which, in my opinion, is the best dsp effects plugin with the easiest-to-use controls and yet powerful sound outputs that easily emulate a super hi-fi.
hmm............... i defi. got some new nice version of winamp - - but it keeps geting stuck so i cant figure out which one it is ... and.. all my musics on windows media player nowadays.... extremely convenient...and nice ..... and the funky visualisations completely kik-asss !
you wanna know what a dsp-plugin is? if u are a super bass/treble freak and want lots of it in the music you play on your computer, you may find the equalisers on winamp/WMP not giving you that extra punch, however hard you try adjusting them... some developers therefore have made some special 'plugins' that are not part of standard equipment but work in tandem with the main program and add some very useful extra features to the program. this plugin that i was talking of - enhancer - is one such that makes the regular output out of winamp incredibly beautiful and rich and amazing and... well better, much better. you can boost the bass guitar or drum, or the treble snare and hat, or add extra reverb to get more hall-like sound from the same track. here: https://www.i-adrian.home.ro/file/dsp_enh.zip ----------------------------------------------------------------- hey btw i found out that winamp5 can be used in the old way and with the old skins too... so you can configure the new prog to use the old 'classic' skin and it runs like the lightweight good old winamp2.
hey..checked out winamp 5 -thats the one i got.. and its really kewl...very very nice ... like all new things when they first come out .
