who like me, likes Def Leppard's underappreciated 'Slang'

Slang is an album by def leppard..


I do like slang...but I did not religiously follow them after Hysteria....so cannot comment much

 

then I think hysteria was better

I wrote this in regards to an earlier post of mine about Vivian Campbell...Slang has some of his best playing post Dio...expecially check out "Work it out"..Leppard tried to go the trendy way during the mid -90's still trying to stay true to their style...alot of fans didnt appreciate it...i do like the album though better than what came later like Euphoria and X...
and of course Pyromania, Hysteria and even Adrenalize to an extent were production masterpieces Thanx to Mutt Lange ....

 

Once again my question wa snot who likes Hysteria better of course everybody does ...it was "who appreciates Slang"

Thats just a joke I heard sometime ago. I haven't heard too much from Def Leppard so can't say anything.

I can't with both hands actually. I'm not pissing on the drummer but that one made me laugh. Well I guess people who like the band won't like the joke. Sorry for that

Slang is an amazing album. The band's creativity is at it's peak. My favourite has been Retro Active. Killer songs, great guitaring and brand new Vivian Campbell into Def Leppard. High n Dry is another killer album. Otherwise pretty much the same stuff. Can't tolerate the hyped Hysteria Album though.
