Who do you think is the fastest drummer in the world?

Some say that bezerker got the fastest drummer, some say Led Zeppelin, morbid angels Pete Sandoval, slayer, cannibal corpse what not??

I'm talking about the dealing with double kicks only

I checked it out. I think he's doing it only to break records. He's not that good on the bass. Which band does he play in?

derek roddy hate eternal
george kolas(i think thats how u spell it)
nick barker
and tony laureno

all play kick drum at 250bmp which is probably the fastest right now

jhon banham for Led Zep ...was the best

 

My favorite drummer has got to be flo mounier from Cryptopsy.

 

mike portnoy is my fav..donno if he is the fastest though

 

scott travis plays pretty fast. he might be in the top 5 aleast

 

@JAZZ - I'll presume u've never heard any of the bands I mentioned thus u feel that SUM 41 has the fastest drummer.

I haven't heard anybody who can kick bass faster than Ian Paice of Deep Purple. Hear his Mule Solo in Made In Japan. Remeber he only uses a single bass and you can also hear him stomping the high hat. With single bass he is faster than many of the double bass drummers. Only players who couldn't do that use the double bass.

 

heard Led Zep.... Think the drumming was pretty fast & cool

 

Yeah !!! Recently saw the DVD of Led Zep live. John Bonham went into a Drum solo for 15 minutes. Pretty awesome.

 

yeps Bonham was the best...he played just with the speed of The Rhythm guitars by Jimmy Page.....they had really nice combination

 

hells yeah! I ordered their Live DVD too cant wait till it gets here...i heard theres a 7 minute drum solo. I preordered his drum instructional for my best friend...but hell every time i listen to Phobophile and Crown of Horns...i think im gonna take up drums too someday :
