Which song to perform with a guitar and keyboard

Hi

I am trying to do play some somes for a small group (get-together).

I have a acoustic and electric with fender princeton amp. i can get a keyboard player...can anyone help me with

1) song to play (1 or 2 is also ok)
2) tabs etc
3) any special effects or processor needed for the tone of song.

in nutshell...to perform with a guitar and keyboard.

Any help is appreciated...

For me i can do basic chords and little bit of leads small ones..speed is slow to medium on lead...i cant go fast.

You can probably try songs like Holy Diver or Rainbow In The Dark by Dio (although you probably won't manage the solo). It's fun to play and the keyboard parts (not too tough) go well with the guitar.

 

Just set a light chorus, and a light reverb in your amp, thats enough
what songs? hindi or english??

Hindi would be preferable since most of the people in the group would be prefering Hindi but English is also not a prob...Could please you give me the the complete tabs for guitar chords + solos (intro,outro and everything in between) for guitar and keyboards for Hindi or English songs which i can manage..

just search this forum ajay
you will find tabs for a lot of hindi songs
what u can do is divide the playing as follows:
1) guitar plays the tune of the song as tabbed
2) keyboard plays harmony (chords)

OR in case of duets
The guitar plays the male part and the keyboard plays female parts or vice versa.
