Which movie for Oscar this time???

    Last time it was Paheli beating Black for the Oscar(entry) race from India...though it couldn't create sparks there...but was successful in creating controversies/Debates here in India...

    This year which movie, you think; is fit for India's entry for a nomination in Oscar Awards...

    few days back on a news channel I heard a few names like....

    Rand De Basanti
    Omkara
    KANK
    Lage Raho Munnabhai
    many of us would agree to any of these movies...whereas there might be some minds which are thinking about other movies as well...

    omkara would be my choice.
    but i think rdb would go for the oscars.omkara does not have a original story based on othello so that would hamper it's chances.

    omkara has a dumbkara plot ..
    im waiting for dhoom 2 yeah! the promo is awsome! and i guess there will another ghoom before the 3rd of the triology be released!

    but again i cnt remember any flop movie right now we shud sen a biggest flop this time and c whether it wrks

    as all r hits only make up for nominee with our bollywood actor sittin in the corner n smilling with nobody knowin thm frm which planet they r


    ps--munnabhai makes it to the oscar who will attend the oscar ceremony cos sanju baba will b in arthur road jail in mumbai soon :)

    yaar, one thing is damn sure that indian movie is not gonna win in oscar,:NoTalk:however there r some chances of "rang de basanti" to be in best 4 or best 3(whatever).

    bcoz fast & furios(check spell) should win or could win this time. :rock:

    but still if the choice is limited between these 4, then i`ll go for "rang de basanti". after all it is a solid movie yaar, jitni baar dekho achchi lagti hai..:grin:

    I think RDB has a fair chance from India for the Oscars..
    If u pick any movie this year having a new concept and originality blended with entertainment and commercial values then its RDB...

    Regarding the rest:
    Munna bhai... havent watched yet.. but heard good reviews.
    Omkara.. same as above..
    KANK... I hate movies of this type... which have only decorations and no originality and nothing new and interesting...
