which is the best Indian rock-band ?

Sceptre is simply awesome... great metallica covers. But I heard the band had broken up, izzat true?

 

Has anyone heard of zypher? I've heard they are good, but never seen them perform.

 

Zephyr is like from my college... I've seen them perform...
The lead guitarist Sameer was my classmate in school. This guy kicks ass man... one of the good finds. Thier drummer JJ is good. Dunno the basist and rhythms dat well... and like, the vocals is by this really hot gal, Rachel. They have one original "Riot" and they perform "What's Up" and "Zombie" damn well. They also were in the Launch Pad thingy.

Sceptre = I don't think they have split up... Not sure!

 

Zypher is a cool band, specially coz of there female vocalist..
other bands on launch pad? neone remembers..there was this Groove Gamez or something?

yeah man..i remember they rocked iitd in my 1st year. They played MOP and it was awesome!!!

Ne1 has Deep Throat??? What happened to all the bands there??? 'Cept obviously, Kryptos, DR, PDV...

 

Kryptos..yuck!!..they sucked big time at the iit rockshow this year..totally bored the hell outta me .

pentagram is i think better than the rest of indian rock bands..

are u for real??they have a totally different genre of their own.more sounds like a dancing ground with lil bit of rock influences mixed with!they rae like electronic rock or something like that! :beer:

 

they changed over to techno ... some time back ... but initially they were rock ...
i guess it has more to do with the DJ there ...

 

they hav started to suck....nd i gotta admit their vocalist...wats his name....vishar or smthin is givin better moosic for bollywood...

 

pentagram is different cause of their unique music..
lot of techno...something u dont find much in indian bands...

 

@dancing avatar <ur name is hard to spell> - theres a diff bet wenn rock and techno!if u wish u can take techno and compare it with other indian techno bands.spare rock genre

 

i never said they r total techno genere...
just their music dosent sound much like rock..
