which is the best Indian rock-band ?

@asmodues.....yeah, i have heard abt xenon. and yes, there are the best when it comes to iron maiden covers. infact, they r the only band who gigd for a concert completely dedicated to maiden.

PDV is the best indian rock band when its live. period


@mitra....parikrama were there in IIT powai fest (mood i) there co ordination is amazing, sonam rockd....was looking gr8 wid his gibson LP....rhythm girl had Rhoads...wow!

@mr.scary i think u talking about me but the band is Reptilian Death and I'm the drummer/vocalist from that and yes we have a track with a slight cryptopsy vibe

 

@fictional ... Moksha is also good at Iron Maiden covers ... in fact when maiden had come to India Moksha were the opening act ... but that was some time back ... and we have seen them over here in IIT Kharagpur and their stage presence sucked big time ...

Iron Maiden has never toured in India. Moksha was featured on an Iron Maiden and Metallica Tribute album. Thats about it.

even i've heard motherjane. . they rock bigtime. . mindstreet is a very good song. i heard them live in kanpur they were really great ...

Iron Maiden 1/5 in India

HEY!!!
By the way dudes!!!

IRON MAIDEN was not in INDIA

BUT

On 4th Jan 2003, we got news that the ex-vocalist of Iron Maiden is performing in Pune!
We then got confirmed news of some Foreign Rock band performing on Sunday 19th January 2003 at the Corinthian Club.
The organizers (some Iranis) didnt have a clue of the name, but they kept saying Iron Maiden all the time.
One of my friend's friend's friend said he knows those organizers and he can get us in for free.

So we said what the heck and we went there!!!!


it was PAUL DIANNO!!! with his band KILLERS!!!

The show was awesome, great guitar work and Paul sang some old Maiden stuff including Phantom of the Opera!!!

sad part - we were just 50 fukkats who turned up to watch them
good part - the 3 of us had dinner with the band
