gnr and motley crue are truely classic rock along with bon jovi van halen etc in my books glam rock, hair band rock New wave british heavy metal is classic rock now... this is 2005... whitelion whitesnake dio nightranger loverboy motley crue def leppard metallica guns and roses etc etc of course it has to be one album from GNR appetite.. thats classic.. not thier ****ty and anal followups like use your illusions which was pretty popular in india i remember.. and pre black album metallica.

yeah...ozzy rules!! i dont know which band is the best but id say sabbath,purple,maiden,floyd,led zep might would definitely appear in my top 10 list.
For me classic rock is bands like doors, the cure (boys don't cry, friday I'm in love), foriegner, counting crows (mr jones)... the kinda songs that used to come on classic mtv or rewind on channvel V.. do they still come? oh btw I thought sophia was hot..!
AC/DC - best C;assic band ever. At Jay@ - Use your illusions was not shi**y. It was the greatest followup aftetr Appetite and GN'R Lies. It broke many HArd Rock records like first badn to release 2 albums in 1 day, first band to hit 3 albums at one time on the billboard charts, first band who got drunk everywhere they went < jk about the drunk part. seriously i would be the last person 2 say this, but I dont GN'R is a classic band. They got the big light in 1988, and the classic bands are more like the 70-80's AC/DC or Metallica (b4 90's), Black Sabbath, Led Zep, Rainbo, Deep Purple, and more.
