which guitar to go for 13,500 bc rich or a new low end model ibanez

hey guys,
i am stuck here ( actually i am pretty clueless)
my frnd is willing to sell a bc rich for 13500 and odd ( i'let u know the particulars of tat later). i am not sure weather to go for tat or buy a new ibanez. the guit which my frnd is selling is third hand acctually, and obviously u wont claim for any post damage. but i am not sure if i can get a decent ibanez for around 14k. so help me out people.

It all depends on you. Have you checked the 3rd hand bc rich personally? My personal belief is that "One time investment should be a good one"
And as far as price is concerned a new ibanez there still costs lessthan a second hand one here in Britain!

So :think: and act. Baseline: Buy a new one!

yeah, i think i mite go for a first hand itself. hope i can invest some more cash to buy an amp.i personally checked out my frnds bc rich, it is simply amazing ( atleast i thought so). it has a rose wood neck, black colored ( kinda spider shaped), i still dunno the pick ups he has installed. acc, he has installed 2 new pickups. tats why he is askin 13.5k.

let us know which bc rich ur getting coz ive seen new bc riches come for 250 dollars.. 99% itll e that only and ur friend will be ripping u off... are u in bbay bangalore? which city??

 

@deathdr, i am in bangalore city. i still aint met him yet ( ie. not recently). i will talk to 'em and tell ya. the guit acc costs 13.5, but since he has put new pick ups, he's askin for 13.5.

 

take an experienced electric player coz the first electric u play will always seem dam good and if u dont play regularly on good guitars u mght not be able to tell a good one from a bad one.

 

@westarend- Are u buying the guitar(BCRICH) from Arun? I know him really well.

hey guys, i got the info about. two duncan design humbuckers,24 frets, sore wood body, its a broze series war lock..... so wat do ya guys reckon. i kust got info tat the first did'nt use the guit, so he sold the guit. and the guy who is selling this guit to me is a good frnd of mine. acctually, even he has'nt used this guit much. so wat do ya guys think......

im guessing by the choice of brands that you are a metal guitar player.
13,500..hmm..is that ur budget..or can u shell out some more cash??

i would go for a fender squire showmaster.ive played it and it feels good..and u can get some good heavy tones out of it.

not a squire strat..but a squire showmaster.

u should get it for arnd 15-16 grand.

wait for a few metal players to also chip in their suggestions.
dont rush in to buyin a guitar.

@alfons......is aria a gud brand........i think i mite end up buying an ibanez, non floyd rose, with two humbukers and one single coil. how tis.......?
