I said the 9K strat iz not good for Heavy strat, i didn't say strat iz not good...Strat iz one of the most versetile guitars around....
But start california series (only strat which will fit in his budget) doesn't have hambucker, so it's not good for heavy patches....

 

am not gonna buy a givson guitar plz dude i dont like them u may like them but sorry wont buy a givson

Dude, The fat strat(California series) has a Humbucker and is very well in the budget.

I bought it for Rs 8800 so NO further arguments!

PS: I presume we're talking of a Squier fat strat.

As long as you are playing on crappy processors, it doesnt make much difference whether you are playign on single coils or humbucker.

Especially on high-gain patches.

I challenge anyone here to differentiate between the two.
I will make soundclips using my processor.
One would be on bridge humbucker.
Other would be on bridge split (which is the single coil)

Lets see how many of you can distinguish it.

Anyone game?


And once when this is done, I will record on stomp box just to demo how much difference should actually be there.

Dude you said that strats are'nt good for heavy PATCHES...by that u must mean digital pedal with a heavy sound. And like i said earlier it dont matter if you're using a strat or a lespaul, a single or a humbucker...its all gonna sound the same. Listen to Alpha1...he knows about sounds

I recomend a better combination...... GIVSON and KUSTOM SOUND... Dued The KUSTOM amps beat the Shit out of Starnger... Plus the KUSTOM AMPS will work well as an amplifier for DISK MAN too.
