Hi Guys... After visiting this forum, I found a lot of guitar crazy people sharing their knowledge and experiences.. Well, I am planning to buy a guitar ... but I dont know which one to opt for as beginner (hobner, givson etc) and whether there is a necessity/methodology to check a guitar prior to buying... so guys .. kindly suggest... . thanks in advance..
well actually u have to test a guitar before buying it.take some frnd who knows a bit of playing. in buying locals i would say u shud consider hobner, if wud be can get an archtop , since they have a balanced tone. and if u can spend more than 5k go for a pluto or yamaha , they are way better offf than the locals
In hobner again , there are some variations like the 265/235 .... can you tell me the significance of the same .. and recommend one medium size guitar .. cumin2 the next point, as such i dont have a friend who s a guitarist ...hence I am trying to capitalize on from the threads ... I live in andheri ....
i would suggest Pluto jumbo acoustic.. i bought it for 2600.. its i guess best guitar in that price range. if you can stretch your budget buy Yamaha F210..i bought that for 4600.. it sure has better playability..
pluto guitars are not local,they are imported. and what i have heard from other ppl is that they really rock. regarding the model variations in hobner, don't pay attention on them, ur guitar shud be nice, just check out if the tuners work finr, check if the binding(the white line on the top)is loose, the binding shud be firm, and check if there is buzzing in the strings when u play them, and check for the distance between the fretboard and the strings ,it shouldn't be impractically large

guys, is a hobner 265 a f hole guitar or a round hole guitar?? If i had to choose between a hobner, a pluto and a signature, which one shld i go. I am ok with a 3000-3500 budget. I am planning on buying the guitar soon
I bought a guitar today. I got a Pluto Hw41C. It RRRocks Big time. It beats a hobner or a givson hands down. I will upload the photo soon. I got it for 3400 Rs in pune.

buying a guitar in pune u can buy ur guitat at a store called awaaz. Its in MG road. U might have heard og magnum mall or sgs mall. Its right opposite to that. for learning, u can go to musico guitar academy at deccan. thats where i learn. amazing class and amazing teacher
