which 1 to buy?????? HEy fellow guitarists,.,, i have an RP90 effects pedal and a marshall 15cd amp.... i obviously need a decent guitar too I've Rs.10k(230$) left and thts all i can afford at the moment.and i know i wont be doing justice if i were spending more money on an expensive guitar.i'm still a beginner... pls suggest me electric guitar.my playing usually involves rock and metal... i need a guitar with at least 22 to 24 frets... heres my list 1.ibanez GRX20 2.ibanez SA120ex or sa160 3.ibanez RG370DX or 350EX 4.ibanez GRG150 5.yamaha pacifica 012 6.fender squier affinity fat strat anything else?? i can extend my budget rs12k.... pls help me out.... i'm counting on u guys.
ya i guess so... coz i took the price range from musician friends.... common ppl... help me out.i need to get an axe this month.i'm leaning towards the ibanez... though the yam does sound good.... help me out!!!
hay i had a look at gregbennett guitars... i kind of like em.... what do u think about the torino tr1 would it go well with metal playing aswell?
OHK!!!!!! dis may sound lyk me resounding Alpha1....bt dats wat i am doin....... 'Guitars' do not matter much when your query is about metal......its da 'processor' and 'amps' dat rule dis part of da question.........
Get a guitar which is easy on fingers, and which sounds good. Now no one can tell that unless they play and hear. .. and yes, angel of sin has put it right - metal, blues etc is all in the attitude, the way of playing and the processor/amp (for tone purpose). Guitar plays a very limited part in it.
good i appreciate that u are going for the ultimate products available today but i would suggest you to go for that one which suits u. if u really wants to go deeper then u shld have a connection with ur guitar while playing it shld be the same sound which ur mind is wants to bring so go only which suis u
so iguess i need to try out most of these guitars and select the one tht suits me or select the 1 tht i feel "this is the sound tht i wanted" ok guys tht makes sense.. i think i better try as much guitars as possible... just one question... how much does the greg bennett torino cost? and where do u get it in bangalore?
dunno in bangalore.....bt wen i called up a store in delhi...dey said the TR1 was for around 14000 and da TR2 was for around 16000.........with da accessories ofcourse........and also it was out of stock...in most stores ie....

go for Yamaha Pacifica, great beginner thingy! Feels good, has a good tone, apt for roland cubes and sounds good on Marshall as well!! 12k when i last saw it~
