Which ELECTRIC guitar?

After spending 6 months with the acoustic guitar, I have finally decided to buy an electric one.

But I Have no idea which guitar to buy? What other stuffs do I need to buy(like amps and all)?

My budget is NOT MORE THAN 20k!

Guitar gurus, please help! I want to best possible things(all new, NO SECOND HAND) below 20k(or may be 2-3k more)!

 

well you should be more specific as to wat u want to play..

 

Quite frankly, a guitar doesn't rust. Neither is there any other sort of wear and tear.
The maintenance cost doesn't increase with life.

So what is the problem in looking out for a used gear? (especially considering that used gear will be cheaper than brand new)

 

That is what I wonder every time.
Why people avoid used gear? Maybe the answer is that they most of the time think that the object is defective for its reason to be sold and thus they avoid buying it.

 

Well its not a PC/smartphone that will have some hidden bugs.
Everything is visible and there for us to see ...
