Hi, i am about to order some sets of electric guitar strings (6 at once). Therefore i need your advice on which one to choose .Please let me know which one has better tone and longer life. All are 9-42 gauge. DAddario EX120 Dean Markley Blue Steel Ernie Ball Super Slinky Pink Ernie Ball RPS 9 GHS GBXL Boomers Also do FRET CONDITIONER and STRING CLEANER chemicals make considerable difference to the guitar that they become worth buying? Thanks and regards
Cleaning and maintaining your guitar makes considerable difference to it, so some of the cleaner products are worth it. Not all though, some.
has anyone tried the ernie ball RPS.....they claim it has better tuning stability and life due to "patented bronze wounding" at the ball end..
i use jim dunlop lemon oil for cleansing fretboard .. i am not choosy about strings ..i only jam ..so, i settle for granada ones ..
Believe me strings are extremely important. And I used to use the 01&02 cleaner from Jim Dunlop, but switched to the Lemon oil now.
i understand the importance of strings...thts why i asked for comments on the above brands... so i ve decided on GHS fast fret for string cleaning and dunlop lemon oil for fretboard.. thanks
