It has got to be iTunes for me. Neat interface. Organizes your files in folders according to ID3 tags. Can set equalizer presets for particular songs. Has "Smart Playlists" which include files matching certain paramter(s) like rating, genre, year etc; you mix them if you want. Has support for podcasts. Volume normalizes your songs. Can handle a maximum of 32,000 songs. The best thing I found in it is the organizing feature. It puts all your files in folders according to atrist and album. It can burn discs and prints jewel case inserts too.
I know Winamp will win the poll but I urge people to try out iTunes. Seeing its review in IC CHIP mag I switched from Winamp to iTunes.
See this article from download.com. Its about iTunes and the things you can do with it: https://www.download.com/iTunes-Advanced/1200-20-5140547.html?tag=fea_txt
