Hi everyone....I am a beginner guitarist and wanted to shift to playing an electric guitar. I was wondering when one should go for an electric guitar.
I'hv been playing for four months and can play songs like hotel california , unforgiven, sweet child of mine, stairway to heaven....
Will it be okay to shift to an elec guitar at this stage....
    Please advise....Any help will appreciated.....

    Hey..
Just Playing Some Covers Wont Do..
Before Jumping into the world of electric guitars..you should be able to read tabs...know all the chords by heart..and
I think you need more experience...i dont think 4 months is enough....
Your Hand Movement and the chord changing speed should also be precise..
strumming and Picking tech ( alternative , Hybrid ) Should also be mastered

Hope you find this Helpful :D

    learn the scales..
learn some arpeggios to practice fingering..
    master the chords..
it'll take atleast 1 yr..if u really learn it with dedication..

then THINK of purchasing an electric guitar!
