Whats the difference between tabs and chords?

well
tabs is also called leads
in simple words it is picking of stings one at a time by a guitar pick if u have heard the song mairee from euphoria....when the song starts u can hear that the strings of guitar has been struck in a particular fashion.... that is picking the tabs


chord is more complex
it is positioning yor finger on strings in such a way that when u strike all the strings u will get a particular sound, some of the chords are like A, G, C, D
chord involves striking multiple string at once

hope u understand wat is the difference between these two

Tabs are single notes while chords are set of few notes .
Like when you play C note only it is tab , while when you play C E G
alltogether it is chord .
