    yea the song is the same (ofcourse without the techno jumbo)

    Elton John's Goodbye yellow brick road. It is originally on F scale. I am working it on E. Still not that comfortable with barring of chords

    I am learning that song vocally with my carnatic vocal teacher
    I then try to figure how to play the same stuff on guitar.
    you can hear several versions on sites like raaga or music india online (look for the carnatic versions)
    look for the version by guitarist Prasanna, its pretty good.
    You can find the lyrics/basic notation in some sites but that is not enuf info to play/sing the song. You need much more detailed training.
    I will try to post a detailed thread on this song sometime soon.

    ok i am home and just learnt gill te guitar by rabbi. its a cool and easy rock song. very cool riffs. I wont even try the lead.. i got the rhythm right.. sounds perfect on a fender strat and my software tube screamer effect.
