what kind of presets am I looking at?

I have the Digitech Grunge Pedal. I want that David Gilmour sound ( as in 'Coming Back To Life'). So what kind of presets am I looking at?

umm they had a sticky somewhere with all the presets ever! i remember posting a link to that place somewhere here on IGT....

 

David Gilmour of Pink Floyd
Bass: 10
Middle: 6.5
Treble: 10
Gain: 1.5

or

Gain-2-3
Treble- 7-8
Mids- 9-10
Bass- 5-6
Reverb- 60-70%

 

For that tone, effects are more important.

tons of Delay and chorus.

 

doesnt the preset stuff also depend on the ampli?

A preset sounding great on a Tweed is bound sound like crap on a Plexi

He means a preset sounding good on a Marshall is bound to sound like crap on a Stranger.

Each amp has a different circuit (Marshall has more mid boost than Fender), so each time you play through a different amp you'll need to adjust settings.
