I am sure 4/64 of an inch is not 0.0625 inch. It would be too low an action. So what does this 4/64 mean?
where did ya get dis??? send us da link.......................u r right it would b too low........................
That's exactly what it means. .0625 inches is 1.58mm Which is about right I would think Note: It doesn't say there but action is usually measured at fret 12
Because when I set it at 4/64 from wood, the strings produce little sound. Maybe I need to lower my pups?
from the top of the fret to the bottom of the string, and unless you have V callipers don't bother, you're never going to be able to measure anywhere near that accurately. Don't you think you're obsessing over this a little?
 yazi you need to go by what you think is comfortable and not a website's definition of low. It's just that various actions are close to these numbers. It's not always going to be exactly 1/16"
hard hitters need higher action and thicker strings...thats all i know. Thats why im putting 10s on the slammer!
first jam this sunday...the drummer is awesome! hes like 15 and can play better than most 20yr olds..
