I'm reading Something Fresh by P. G. Wodehouse. His books are downright funny. Ah! The old English style of humour.......
LOL... err...thanks? Hey! guess who's gonna be Prabhakar??!! there are talks about our very own Chunky Pandey.. i donno but he doesnt seem to be right person for the role of Prabhakar Even Johnny Depps a bit short and thin.. and he'd look as if he's come out of Pirates of Carribean besides i cant imagine a blonde Johnny... : Gregory Roberts would have been better i feel have you visited the official site? he's working on a sequel to the book
Chunky Pandey will be good. he is a good actor...but more of talent wasted.. i seriously hope they dont get srk or some one for prabhakar's role.... yup, johnny will look weird in blonde, but is one of the best and the most versatile actors available. most of the characters he has played have been extremely different from each other and really memorable, this might add another one. I have heard about the sequel to the book. to be frank i am not expecting much. maybe Gregory Roberts got carried away by the sucess of the book :
Reading FRETBOARD LOGIC. A serious book for anybody who wants to know the guitar fretboard thoroughly. Not something you can read over night.
uh!.... Prabhakar cant be anything next to SrK or the other way round.. the description given doesnt match oh well... looking forward to seeing it all on screen... it'l be cool i feel... Mumbai with a dash of Afghanistan and Australia not to forget Prabhakar's village ... LOL.... Johnny "baba" in a bullock cart..i dont think they'l include that.. . gotto finish the book first
Finished 1. Guns of Navarone - Alistair MacLean 2. Jonathan Livingstone Seagull - Richard Bach..Only 126 Page book...with many seagull photos...that makes it even less....A motivational book....Very good..you can finish it in an hour.... Currently Reading - Operational Amplifiers and integrated Logic Devices.... : ..got exams u know... Well am planning to read Force 10 from Navarone - Alistair MacLean its a sequel to Guns of Navarone........Films Have been made on both the books which many of you must have seen.....Really gripping novels....
ROTFL @ johnny baba.. Yup, srk will suck, esp when the discription pf Prabhakar makes it clear that he is a 22-24 yr old dude short dude. movie has to be awesome....anyway, if I can become a good movie maker in the future, one bool I'll love to adapt in a movie has to be Salman Rushdie's Midnight's Children and Salinger's Catcher in the Rye....
Here's my update: Finished: 1.Force 10 from Navarone - Alistair MacLean: Sequel to Guns to Navarone..this book has the same team going for another mission.... 2.Doctors - Erich Segal: All about life of Doctors....how they go thru the college and internship and as practitioners....enjoyed it quite a bit.... (Doc....have you read this?) 3.The Hobbit - J R R Tolkien: The prelude to The Lord of the rings triology....Also called "There and Back Again"...is the story of adventures of Bilbo Baggins with Gandalf and some Dwarves....i guess there is a movie being made on this....to be released by dec 2006...(have seen the trailor....says Smaug awakens dec 2006 : ...btw Smaug is the dragon in the story) 4. The Silmarillion - J R R Tolkien:This book explains how Tolkien's world began...how elves & men & dwarves came into existence and then the story of the Silmarilli gems......I dint like this much...felt like i was reading some history textbook from school..... :annoyed: 5. One Night @ a Call Center - Chetan Bhagat: Yes,Chetan Bhagat is back ....after the huge success of "Five point someone"...this is his second book and it simply ROCKS.. ...it is unputdownable.... all BPO ppl should read this....its about 6 friends at a call center and their one night story where they get a call from GOD!!..(this "call from GOD" thing was a bit odd ...but it makes a gr8 reading)...i loved this book... Currently reading: The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand: finally got the courage to pick this up...lets see long it takes...
For the vacation, i am reading Anthem by Ayn Rand......just read first two pages......have to finish it.........but people told me it is a nice book........
