What are u Better at???????

What do u guys reckon ur better at doing making ur own music or trying 2 cover sum1 elses song????? :think:

Making my own music. Maybe not better, but I prefer doing that, and it gives me more satisfaction than pulling off a perfect cover of a song.

 

i am best at appreaciating the music that other artists dish out for me.

where's that option?

 

I recorded some covers when I first started recording. Now I do all my own stuff. Somebody once said to me, "Yeah, that's great that you can play that, but try being the guy who creates it in the first place.".

Glad you like the site, I try to keep it up to date. I work as a consultant. Pressing the keys and waving a mouse around. My music isn't earth-shakingy super-fantastic or anything, but it's a lot fun to make.

As much as i would like to make my own music....as of now i'm not that good at it....so just a few songs of on my own... but i surely enjoy it.....But at the moment it's mostly covers that i do.

 

This is my seventh month since I started playing the guitar. So the only thing that I can do is play people's songs from tabs. Making my own music is a level I have not yet reached.

 

ive been playing for 5 months. and i personally feel im better at making music myself. i find it more difficult do covers. i cant describe it but wen making music i dunno its just really easier sounds weird i know but like i said i cant explain it :rockon: :rockon: :rockon: :rockon:

@axlrose250 - Even I can make some good tunes myself, but making full songs is what is tough.

i can make full songs including the bridge parts and everything. couple of them ive even figured out the intros but the thing is i really cant play lead at all so im trying 2 teach my self tat aswell. if tat works out i can compose whole songs, but the last problem is i cant write lyrics so im just screwed there but ohwell...
