Lesson one: The border lines between the various genres of metal are so thin that it isn't hard for a band to transcend various genres in one album.

Lesson two: Its natural for a band to experiment and hence explore new genres.

Advise one: Do a google search on genres of metal... i'll help you for now..

havent u guys heard of this genre called war metal
sepultura,bolt thrower etc fall into this genre ......

 

oh there is also a genre called stop-the-fu*kin-discussiion metal.......... i love metal but seems that u guys will make me hate metal..........

^^ Exactly. Whats "good music" anyway? It depends from person to person. Its never wrong for a person to have an idea of a band before he/she listens to them. You can always say that a band could be a mixture of genres but classification of this sort is way better than saying "this band is the BEST", "awesome"...etc or "sucks beyond words" or some shit like that.
Or atleast saying that if you like (insert somename), you will like this is good. "For fans of...."
