Western Notes Vs Carnatic Ragam

Hi

There are many raagas that follow the Shankarabaram as thaai ragam,like mohanam,Kadhanakudhukalam,bilahari......Cmajor scales

Random Ragas that dont follow in any of the patterns:

Raag Kalyani
Dominant chords:D major(Madhyamam-2 dominance)
Chords Not applicable:Dminor and Fmajor

To make the chords more accidental/ODD you can use F#Dim

Raag Kamas
Dominant chords:G minor and B major(Nishadham)
Chords Not applicable:Gmajor

To make the chords more accidental/ODD you can use EDim ....

Raag Maand
Can be used like this pattern...(Mostly found in some korean songs)
C E Am F

Based on Arohanam and Avarohanam we could chord create patterns:
to make it even more accurate one must add sustain, diminshed and augmented chords too that actually fits for that Raag!
