    indian food has lot of respect all over da wrld

    but did any 1 accept da desis no bout this ?

    chicken tikka masala is one of da national dish of united kingdom:beer:



    ps->pls dun make it offenssive,nor make it a fightin issue ty ;)

    most ppl dont know that there is a north-eastern part of India where ppl are asian looking...
    lol..seriously..even ppl out here have a tough time to associate ppl from there as Indians.

    seriously....not worth it. The North-east has always been a shockingly neglected part of the country...ironically for the forum, it is also where you find the best music usually (at least on an average basis).

    indian cricket is the best..

    .> English is 'the official language' in the state of Nagaland.

    .> Meghalaya follows a matriarchal society -- u marry a khasi girl and you'll traditionally stay in her house after marriage - she'll go out to earn a living..not relying even a bit on u :p:

    .> Jatinga is a place in Assam where birds commit suicide :shock: - this is being researched but still a mystery (https://nchills.nic.in/NCHILLS-JATINGA.htm)

    .> A friend in shillong was actually detained in jail for peeing on a roadside wall - its turnin out to be 1 of the cleanest Indian cities! :rock:

    .> Shillong has thousand of thoze 'yello and black' car taxis and any other taxi-wala could play anything from firehouse to rod stewart in the taxi -- believe me!

    .> One of the most flourishing trade in Mizoram is their ' western music industry' !

    .> All shops and markets close by 6:00 pm In Nagaland -there's never been a 'night-life' there! :shock:

    .> The game of polo (on the horse back) originated in Manipur

    Sixstring man u deserve it.

    One of my frend went to Gangtok for summer vacs. HE said it is better than Kashmir or Himachal.

    Well if not better then definitly it should be as good + it is not commercialised.

    dharmatma and alph, agree sikkim is oneoffa kind! -- lots of of orchids..orange and apple trees...beer.... snow...yaks....those cute looking white apso doggies with hair all over their eyes -- roaming arnd everywhere .. and the momos! -- with all this its totally a different feeling to see the traditional dance in monastries with people wearing mask like this one:-

    and yes places in NE have been far away from commercialization -- so its a real treat and real refreshing to experience that part of India!

    unfortunately the scene in darj has kinda deteriorated..
    hopefully things pick up there..and ppl wake up to whats happenin to the beautiful place.
    i was in gangtok a while back and was amazed how clean and well kept the place was.

    i only no its in d state karnataka my native

    lot of thiefs in ther ,lot of scope for I T ppl
