we need a carnatic forum

people are spamming off topic carnatic stuff on
musioc talk, yoru band music,tamil forum ..
very interesting threads and posts but they need rightful home.

can you guys start a carnatic music forum

 

which threads u talkin abt ?

I wanted to say the same thing. Carnatic discussions are lost in wrong threads. We need to keep them in one place.

 

I don't think a carnatic forum would really do justice to anything.
there are very few carnatic experts who'd post here. most of us are self learners with views on carnatic that might be shocking, to put it mildly. calling a forum "carnatic" and posting stuff like that there would be blasphemy!
lets just spice up the tamil forum with our carnatic talk.

 

A carnatic forum would be nice.

even i would appreciate if u put up a carnatic forum , lord neo.. we will all share our knowledge on it..

 

half the users of tamil forum would want it lord neo thats my estimate.. and once u add it.. lot of our regular guitsrs will enroll and start contributing.

carnatic music is the #1 popular music in chennai.. it rates even higher than mollywood music.

 

why dont we put a poll on this atleast to know how many of us are really interested.

 

And in the bargain, we might get more people to take up guitar, *if not* appreciate the guitar as a credible instrument

Well we are monitoring it, if it doesnt go as expected we will close the carnatic forum and move back to tamil forum.
