hi friends, i m a very beginner in playing guitar. can u please suggest me a good brand of acoustic guitar to buy..? the rate should be within 3000.. is it possible to get a good one with this price?
Dont go crazy over it For starting wid guitars a simple Indian made brand like gibtone or givson is always the best choice. The only problems to be considered are bridge heights(if raised already) and the distance between string and fret. consider takin a pro to buy a guitar. also check the resonance . if the guitar gives loud and resonating sound on the 21st fret of the bass octave E string. that s the thinnest string(1st). a good F cut guitar should cost u 2400 bones wid a pick up
Please do not buy a GiVson...please.. If you still decide to get it, take somebody who knows their way around guitars. Look at the beginners forum for similar queries

Try GB&A too they have really nice guitars with good sound for Rs 3000. u can get it in cutaway style so u can play beyond the 14th fret also they have this particular model where the sound hole of the guitar is on the topleft corner of the body. it gives a very nice sound and good amplification in the guitar. I have gotten 3 of those guitars for my beginner friends. Plus gb&a have a low action. that means that the string are not very high that it would take a herculean effort just to press the strings to the fretboard... Hobner F Cut is also good...Pluto guitars also..but i suggest you take a guitar player along with youto see what guitar is good...somtimes the piece is bad and u are stuck with that..

Hey there...don't confuse yourself too much,when you want to buy an acoustic guitar, go for a ROUND hole guitar(ie..it has a round hole in the middle), dont go for thin guitars when it comes to acoustics,because the sound timbre will not be good........GIVSON is a brand which you can go for.....it'll cost you within Rs.3000...dont go for f-hole guitars(ie.it has a hole in the shape of the letter " f ") because the sound quality is not so good in it,as it is thin.
