just 2 tell u L.A. Guns went on 2 GN'R, Steven Tyler helped Axl Rose on the voice and the first few large concerts, GN'R broke and STP broke to make VR. Axl , Steven Tyler, Scott Weiland, Slash, and TRacii guns were all involved.
I must add pre comeback aerosmith for me.. aerosmith of the 70s.. not the ****ty aeromiths of the late 80s 90s and 00s

yea! aerosmith wins! in anycase it was seeing joe effing perry play mama kin which inspired slash to take up guitaring slash was 50% of guns and roses (stradlin the other 50%) so go pre comeback aerosmith!
AEROSMITH.........The first rock band I really liked........I played "THE BIG ONES" tape day and night almost for a year then.
Haha good point. I agree CoB are a bit overrated. Anyway I did not choose that title under my nickname. Someone (I believe bob-bobby) changed it for me. I much prefer Dark Tranquility or Kalmah to Children of Bodom.
Slash didn't pick up the guitar because of Aerosmith dumass. He picked it up because of T-Rex and Jeff Beck. Then after a while he was introduced to Aerosmith. Steven Adler got him to pick it up too. Because of KISS. Slash actually hated KISS, but he saw Steven trying to play to KISS with his guitar, then he wanted too. GN'R is not 50% Slash, izzy 50% either. They each play a part in the band. Axl is 20% (though he acts like he's 99.9%), Slash is 20%, Izzy is 20%, Adler/Sorum are 20% during heir period of time, and Duff is 20%.
