So i get this semi-acoustic guitar from my friend last week ....I tried pluggin it to a virtual amp on my pc...The messed up part is the volume from my strings are way louder than what seems to come from my speakers.Any way i could muffle the string sounds and get only the signals??

P.S. The guitar aint a regular round holed version.. Its got two S shaped holes ..

Newbie guyz.... Don mind the the lame lingo..

yeah.. i too herd about. tried it once but was unable to configure properly.
but i am sure it works !!! your problem sems to be in the sound signals form the cables (they are not getting amplified). try with better sets of cables.

That kind of guitar is called F hole guitars.... Go to a music shop and install an acoustic pick up in your guitar (It should be something around 300 bucks)... I think that will solve your problem
