Vellai pookal

    Vellai pookal is in EMaj

    The song is in the key of EMaj. I play an E5 instead of the traditional EMaj. Gives it a fuller sound. Don't remember the chord progression..but as far as I remember it is -

    E5/BSus4/

    and then the "Kaatrin per isayum..." section has the following progression -
    C#min7/Ab7 (not sure about this one - out of memory)/Bsus4/E5

    and then the "KOdi Keerthanamu.." section goes -

    F#7/G#7/Bsus4/E5.

    Again, this is out of memory. I'll need to pick my guitar to confirm this.

    play the first 3 bars again and then play an E sus 4 chord...
    and thats it...!!
    the chord that is strummed is E sus 4
