YOu can only use Glass slides on Acoustic.. It costs somewhere between 1$ - 16 $ .. The ones i have the PYREX 101 series costs 3.60$ thats somewhere areound 180 Rs..

I slide is something you wear on your finger(usually the index, I think) which gives you a nice watery sliding effect.
its usually of steel or glass... wear it on the pinky..u'll find it better as u have more options open to use the other three fingers.

The regular /\ slide is whaty you do with fingers.. Slide is used t ocreate a continuous pitch increasing of decreasing sound withour having and rough rides or bumps..

Not necessarily.. I use Glass on Acoustic to avoid Metal - Metal contact which will throw the Song away.. glass with be more smooth.. It does have a diffferent if not extra effect when used with Distortion on Electric guitars.,.
