Guys guess you havent heard to their actual songs, i mean real good songs.
the songs you have mentioned are good but not great, like the ones on kill em all, justice for all, ride the lightning, master of puppets.

Go home and listen to them and come back and post which you like the most. Let me tell you frankly BLACK is CRAP, its like a grunge album. All songs havesame sort of lyrics, telling i am better than you i can live without you. I dont care for anything.

Anyway my fav ones are Creeping death, Four Horseman, Fight fire with fire, ONE, Fade to black, ......................

 

I love their cover of Tuesday's Gone.

hmm...its been quite a while since i listened to metallica.

but my favs are
creeping death
orion
master of puppets
where ever i may roam

 

metallica's cover of the irish folk song "whiskey in the jar" (which was also covered by thn lizzy) for me, hands down.

seek and destroy from kill em all is my fav, thats kinda sound i like. by the time they were doing justice for all.. they were too processed.. they were very good.. but i didnt like that 80s metal sound that much. black album-- they were already on their way down... it had moments.. but i wouldnt pick any song from the black album. the other thing that has ahppened is hetfeld has degenerated form a human to ape... he cant sing any more.. i am amazed people are finding songs from the newer albums.. my advice to them is listen to their albums in chronological order. I am sure u will stop right after the black albumm.. cause everything after that is crap. load of crap.
