I am just typing it off top of my head and have not heard the song for a long time so there will be some suggestions/changes.. here is how it goes.. -- Intro la la la part.. cool never heard the song.. strummed the chords sounds cool.. sounds like the chord progression for hello by lionel richie u know the part that goes... I can see it in your eyes.. that goes like Am Dm G C F Bb E E7 : this ones is in Em.. will check out the song...
i think the song is in Fminor try out this...... am in hurry so cant type it with the lyrics......try to set it...... Fm .............Fm Db..............Db D#..............D# G#..............G# thats how the starting goes then .... Fm............Fm Bm............Bm C..............C C7th........F just check out and try out this progression instead of Em

NOTE: The whole song in E never plays the F note. Using an F chord in the Em scale is only if the 2nd note is flattened
PacificWaters: The original song is in Em. There were some remixes lately that might be in different scale. BandBaaja: Yeah.. I was always suspicious about F/Am myself. But it still does sound correct in Mil jaaye is tarah part. If theory says it can not be F, it can not be... But I am not very sure with the antara part. Main awaaz hun to.. I would still go with my version in that part.
Hey I have checked the original is in Fm. But we never do it in Fm, I dunno a single female singer in the mumbai orchestra line who goes beyond Eb for this song. wonder why though. About the antra, well JAY needs to hear the song and maybe we'll know of some diminished or Augmented or major seventh in between, WHAT SAY JAY
