well i always liked "paradise city" more! ...it's really fast..i like it.
i also like Malmsteem..tho i have heard only 4-5 songs of his....but they were great.
I heard he was/is the fastest guitarist in the world..is that true?

  13. d_ist_urb_ed

    d_ist_urb_ed Genuflect b*tches!

Strictly off-topic but Light, he's the 3rd fastest shredder in the world. Technically speaking, Michael Angelo Batio is the fastest followed by Chris Impelleteri, listen to them, your jaw will be sure to drop;)

    death_metal_fan oh goody, it's a woody!

I don't know why people give so much credit to trashy musicians like Malmsteen..sure he may be a good guitar player but have you ever listened to one of his songs? His songs are absolutely downright ****ing boring.

If playing as fast as Malmsteen means I'll be able to write crap songs like he does, no thanks. I'd much rather play like Laiho or Schuldiner and write amazing riffs/solos.

Speed isn't everything. Get your head of out of your ass.

^you put Estranged but no Sweet Child...(sob).

Fast isnt good. YOu can be the fastest in the world and still suck ****. Paradise City is a very underated song. Rolling Stone magazine said that, Guitar Player said that, and GW said that. It is. I like Paradise City more than Welcome to The Jungle. ITs cooler and takes on a western theme. Just ask Slash..
